Shipping & Delivery Policy

Chitti Babu Biryani delivers freshly cooked food from our kitchen in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. We do not ship packaged goods or deliver outside Hyderabad. This page explains our delivery charges, areas, timings and what to expect when your order is on its way.

1. Delivery charges

The delivery charge is shown clearly at checkout before you pay. If your cart is just under ₹500, adding a side or a drink usually costs less than the delivery fee, so it is worth a look at the menu. Takeaway orders collected from the restaurant have no delivery charge.

2. Delivery area

We deliver within our service radius around Kukatpally, Hyderabad, covering nearby localities such as KPHB, Moosapet, Nizampet, Pragathi Nagar, Miyapur and Hydernagar, subject to availability. Enter your address at checkout or call us on +91 96663 13134 to confirm whether we deliver to you. If an address turns out to be outside our area after payment, we will cancel the order and refund you in full.

3. Delivery hours

Delivery is available during our opening hours, Monday to Sunday from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Last orders for delivery are accepted 45 minutes before closing so that every order can be cooked and delivered fresh.

4. Delivery time

Most orders arrive within 45 to 60 minutes of confirmation. Cooking takes about 25 to 30 minutes because we prepare biryani to order rather than from a holding counter. The remainder is travel time, which depends on your distance and traffic. During peak hours (lunch 12:30 to 2:30 PM, dinner 7:30 to 9:30 PM), weekends and festivals, delivery can take longer, and we will tell you the expected time when you order.

Estimated times are indicative. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or events outside our control, provided your food is delivered in good condition.

5. Packaging

Every item is heat-sealed in leak-proof, food-grade containers and packed in an insulated carrier so your biryani arrives hot and intact. Raita, salan and salads are packed separately. If a seal is broken or a container is damaged on arrival, please refuse the item or report it to us within 30 minutes with a photo. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for what we do next.

6. Receiving your order

• Please make sure the address, landmark and phone number you give are accurate and that you are reachable. Our delivery partner will call if they cannot find you.
• If we cannot reach you after repeated attempts within 15 minutes of arrival, the order is treated as delivered and is not eligible for a refund.
• For cash-on-delivery orders, where available, please have the exact amount ready.
• Contactless delivery is available on request. Mention it in the order notes or on the phone.

7. Bulk and catering deliveries

For party, office or event orders, please email info@chittibabubiryani.com at least one day in advance. Delivery charges for bulk orders are quoted separately based on quantity and distance, and free delivery on orders over ₹500 does not apply to catering orders.

8. Orders through delivery apps

Orders placed on Swiggy, Zomato or other platforms follow that platform's delivery charges, timings and policies, not this page. Ordering directly from us is usually the cheaper option.
